Selection and principle of large open gear lubricating oil spray lubrication
There are three common lubrication methods for large open gears: spray lubrication, oil pool lubrication, and manual solid lubricant lubrication. At present, the spray lubrication method is the mainstream lubrication method.
The advantage of the spraying method is that the open gear tooth surface is continuously replenished with fresh lubricating grease, which can replace the mixture of old lubricating oil, dust and abrasive particles, avoiding material leakage and excessive influence on the open gear tooth surface, using mechanical automatic The spraying method and the lubricating oil overcome the disadvantages of difficulty in adding lubricating oil and uneven coverage of the lubricating oil layer on the open gear tooth surface. It is the most widely used lubrication method.
This method requires the lubricating oil to have good adhesion, spray performance (preferably pure lubricating oil), high anti-wear and extreme pressure, because it will produce a mixture of air and lubricant, which is lubricated. Oil should not contain heavy metals and toxic or carcinogenic substances, so as to avoid inhalation by workers and cause cumulative damage to personnel; usually special lubricants with a base oil viscosity of 15000mm2/s are used. This method is widely used abroad, and most large-scale equipment in China is also widely used.
The large open gear lubrication control system periodically sprays and cools the gears. After the lubricating oil in the lubricating oil tank is pressurized by the fuel injection pump, it enters each nozzle along the oil feeding line through the distributor, and is mixed with the compressed air to atomize the lubricating oil and spray on the tooth surface of the lubricating gear to play a lubricating role. . Due to the wide tooth surface of the large gear, 4-6 nozzles are installed side by side, and the lubricating oil is intermittently sprayed through the nozzle to the tooth surface of the open gear, and the lubricating oil is brought to the meshed gear through the meshing between the gears. On each side. After the oil supply is stopped, the compressed air continues to be purged (post-blowing) to evenly lubricate the oil film and prevent the oil from dripping. The nozzle closes after the end of the blow. This spray lubrication method greatly extends the service life of the gears, reduces the noise during gear operation, and reduces the consumption of lubricant.
