Promotion of agricultural spray oil application in China

2014/8/6

The research and application of agricultural spray oil in China began in 1993. Funded by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), the Australian New South Wales Institute of Biology and Chemistry, the Guangdong Institute of Entomology and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture have launched the “Common Pest Control of Chinese Citrus”, which is dominated by agricultural spray oil. "project. The specific content of the project is: changing the ecological environment of the orchard is to improve the diversification of orchard vegetation, protect and play the role of natural enemies, and replace the chemical synthetic pesticides with high-efficiency, low-toxic agricultural spray oil.
Agricultural spray oil has been used in plant protection for 100 years. Due to its broad-spectrum insecticide, disease-free, drug-resistant and safe for natural enemies, it has been used by overseas fruit farmers to replace other killings and insecticides. The project's test at the Guangxi test site proved that the use of agricultural spray oil instead of acaricide can control citrus red spiders for up to 6 months, and at the same time treat rust spiders, red round mites and white mites. Experts predict that the use of this technology can reduce the number and cost of chemical pesticides to 5-6 times and 200 yuan/mu respectively. Continuous use of this technology for 3-5 years is expected to minimize chemical pesticides, thereby achieving continuous control of pests and sustainable development of citrus production.
At present, the Chinese government advocates pollution-free production in agriculture, and SK has begun to cooperate with the agricultural technology promotion department to develop the application of “SK Green Ying” in pollution-free production technology. The projects that have been carried out are:
1. Cooperated with the Institute of Vegetables and Flowers of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to carry out research on the use of SK Green Ying in the comprehensive control technology of greenhouse powdery mildew and whitefly in greenhouse. The study emphasizes the natural role of natural enemies, and takes advantage of SK Green's safety for natural enemies, while developing applications in the control of other crops including flower pests and diseases.
2. Cooperated with the Plant Protection Institute of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Agricultural Product Quality Supervision, Testing and Testing Center of the Ministry of Agriculture to carry out the “Synthetic Application Development of SK Green Ying on Vegetables”. This study not only emphasizes research on the prevention and control of powdery mildew and whitefly, but also studies “SK”. Green Ying is mixed with other bioselective pesticides to simultaneously control lepidopteran pests. This technology will serve as an important means of plant protection for pollution-free vegetables.
3. Cooperated with the Tea Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to carry out the project “Control of Tea Pests and Diseases Based on SK Green Ying” in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province and Simao, Yunnan Province. The project is carried out in 200 acres of tea farms, spraying 4-5 times a year "SK Green Ying", basically do not use other pesticides to prevent small green leafhoppers, tea mites and tea cake diseases.
4. Cooperated with the Plant Protection Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences to carry out research on the new dosage form of “SK Green Ying”, aiming at developing low-yield mixed dosage forms suitable for the climate in South China and developing “mainly SK green and bio-selective pesticides”. The comprehensive prevention and control technology of vegetables" is promoted in the Pearl River Delta.
5. Cooperate with the Plant Protection Institute of Yantai Academy of Agricultural Sciences to develop the application of “SK Green Ying” on other fruit trees, including pears, peaches and cherries. The project will verify the application experience of foreign countries on these crops in China and propose a set of prevention and control recommendations for China.
